Seventeen-year-old Kobe Wilson is one of more than 14,000 boys named after Bryant during his 20 years in the NBA. Those namesakes are as much a part of Bryant's legacy as his five championship rings, two Olympic gold medals and 18 All-Star appearances.

meanwhile no grown ass self respecting black man is naming their child after Da Real Lambo's stepson :applause: :applause:

Kobe is actually a normal name.

The craziest is the amount of people in Tennessee named Peyton that were born between like 97 and 07

That's the French version of his name. The Spanish version is Elbron.

Naming your kid after a sports figure, who most likely has a low level of education and didn't even really care about winning or losing much and is self-centered and arrogant in 80% of the cases :facepalm

When you could literally pick any other field and any other person...a courageous activist or war-hero or scientist who devoted his whole life to some type of research or a great teacher or mentor that helped you grow up
