His jumper is so broke right now, it's not even funny yet he is still producing at a very high level.

If his jumper wasn't so broke, he would actually be having one of his best seasons this year:bowdown:

Props to the King:applause:

He's always been a great athlete - he's karl malone, except without midrange jumpshot, touch around the rim/in the paint, screener know-how, or even post game....

but WITH guard handle.

karl malone without all his bread-and-butters listed above, but WITH handle is basically a massive, athletic guard - a karl-malone sized guard is a formidable package and enough to do what he's doing, even with no jumpshot.

This is why though his decline in his 30s is likely to be fairly ugly.

That shit will not fly in the postseason because the east in tougher this year. They're not going far with him shooting under 50 TS% like last year. He needs to find his jumper.

Honestly, how is Lebron 32, a perimeter player, and still doesn't have a consistent jumpshot? How did his jumper get worse with age? How do you just forget how to shoot?

itt OP is acting like LeBron is the first player to average 25 points a game without a jumper.

lebron's jumpshot has been near the bottom of the league for nearly his entire career.. this is statistical fact (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=11713938&postcount=64)..

so this is nothing new - the only difference is that he can't get the the basket as easily as before, so his jumpshot deficiencies are more obvious.

People keep talking about his athleticism but he still looks great to me there. He would be having one of his best seasons if he could simply shoot at an above average level.

I'll revise the statement, not that it makes much difference:

Lebron's jumpshot has been in the bottom half of the league for nearly his entire career - this is statistical fact:

Back problems, and shooting starts with your legs. All those minutes catching up to him.

Have we ever seen a player whose jumper varies so wildly year to year? It's not just the eye test either - the numbers bear it out. Some years he's shooting in the low-40's % on midrange shots, and other years it's in the low-mid 30's. It's so odd. Usually ap layer's shot improves as they age and stays consistent year to year once they've improved it. I can't recall anyone fluctuating so much in terms of their jumper as a veteran.

LBJ had a jumper in Miami, but left it there. He picked his spots better in Miami.

Wade is better at the mid range game, but LBJ is better with the 3 ball.

LBJ is 35.7% from 10-16 ft. 38.8% from 16 ft <3pt. 34% from the 3.

Wade is 38.5% from 10-16 ft. 38.9% from 16 ft <3pt. 28.7% from the 3.

Career wise.

This year, they are basically the same in everything in terms of mid range game.. LBJ is a slightly less crappy 3pt shooter than Wade this year tho, but Wade hardly ever takes 3s. So, they both can't shoot this year.

Yeah it will. His jumpshot was actually worse in the 2012 finals against Thunder. The whole series, he maybe made like 10 jumpshots but again he was still able to produce at a very high level.

They will easily get out of east even if he doesn't find his jumpshot. He'll need it against GSW or Spurs for sure though.

He's not going to suddenly find it at the most high-pressure point in the season. What I saw last night is how they need to play, feature Love and Irving alot in the half-court and have Lebron force the issue in transition and post-up. That move against Ginobli, albeit Manu certainly has no chance in that situation, is what Lebron needs to focus more on. He also had a few nice cuts resulting in easy lay-ups.....this is what both he and the Cavs should do going forward.

Whether that formula finds success in a finals setting against those two teams remains to be seen, but they'll have little resistance getting to the finals.

2/6 is amazing? While having the most stacked team in history. I bet bran stans are real life losers. Coz they have low standards

No jumpshot. Runs duckfooted. Low impact on scoring. Beta personality. Unclutch as f*ck. Coach killing cancer.

How did this guy ever manage 2 championships? Seems like an overachievement based on how he's talked about on ISH.
