For me it goes...

1. Harden

Next tier: Klay, Butler, DeRozan

5. Wade

Do you have Klay ranked ahead of Butler & DeRozan? Many don't like Harden because of his horrible defense, but you can't deny his offensive skill set.

Harden is clearly a better #1 option, but you'll never win a title with Harden as your #1 option.

Klay is best #2 option in the league, with his combination of defense and off-ball scoring ability. I guess Butler is in the discussion as well.

Eye test says somewhere within the top 10

Advanced stats have Klay at the #9 Shooting Guard in the league. He might be a tad better then that however.

Hard to say...his defense has been crap this year.

for me there's no clear cut #1 in the sg position but id take thompson over Harden. No offense on Harden but two players are more valuable imo.

The very top.

Best SG in the league. I'd easily take him over Jimmy and James.

#3 seems fair to me.

Now where does Draymond rank among PFs? He has to be the best power forward in the league this year, right? Maybe #2 behind Anthony Davis.

God, that is a horrible list.
RK NAME TEAM GP MPG ORPM DRPM RPM WINS
1 Jimmy Butler CHI 45 38.1 4.38 -0.09 4.29 7.66
2 James Harden HOU 50 37.3 5.83 -1.70 4.13 7.87
3 Manu Ginobili SA 41 19.7 2.86 0.81 3.67 3.31

6 Nicolas Batum CHA 39 34.8 1.26 -0.05 1.21 3.52
7 Victor Oladipo ORL 41 30.4 0.75 0.44 1.19 3.06
8 C.J. McCollum POR 46 35.1 2.59 -1.41 1.18 4.23

10 DeMar DeRozan TOR 47 36.4 3.14 -2.21 0.93 4.02

do you mean........ it's wrong as far as this year and therefore horrible?
or do you mean.... it's a horrible list of 2Gs?

Ginobili is the only all time great on there and long past his days.

I guess an argument might be made for Harden joining the ATG list at some point but I would really be skeptical about that.......

Thompson and Butler are neck and neck with that #2 spot.

Too bad they can't anchor a team like the best SG in the league did last season. Even out of shape and with a worse supporting cast, he's still in the playoffs in the tough West.

Harden is the best, but Wade is the 2nd best SG. His minutes are a bit lower than the other guys, but his per-minute production is still elite (22/6/5/1/1 per-36) and he's been the best 4th quarter SG and one of the most clutch players overall in the league. His defense has also been very good this season.
