I actually get more upset when they win. If we end this season with anything other than the worst record, I'll be disappointed. There's absolutely no reason to win games. We can get serious about the team again once Kobe rides off into the sunset and Tank Conmander Scott goes back to fake tough guy TV commentator.

It doesn't guarantee but it increases your chances. At this point, Lakers need to lose just about every game possible If they want a shot at a top three pick. I'm giving the Lakers this summer to turn things around if they don't I expect some major changes in the from office for sure. Lakers can't lose their culture.

That's arguable but the difference is is that Bostons team/plan is by design where the Lakers are in this situation by accident. Remember they really never planned on tanking or having losing seasons. They have been trying to snag the big name free agents in the hopes of remaking relevant while rebuilding which if the worst way to rebuild. Honestly they are lucky to have struck out on the 30+ year old free agents they have been trying to lock up. It would have stunted the rebuild even longer.

Boston at least had a plan and did well for themselves considering it was the kg Pierce allen show not too long ago. They had a plan to stockpile picks and rebuilding that way. I'm not all that confident Lakers can stick to a plan and rebuild a true contender. Seems they want to the short cut. Their situation is not terrible but they could have had a lot of $$ locked up in aging stars if they got what they wanted.
