One guy is in his 20th season and had a +/- of +2.

What the Lakers have surrounded Kobe with his last years here...beyond pathetic. Meanwhile Duncan is playing on a loaded Spurs team, and franchise that's been prodigious with reloading and coming back strong EVERY season.

Bean's career officially ended after the achilles tear.

must be fun to actively root against your team's young players so you can prop up someone who's retiring next year. bet it's great

:biggums:

Duncan took a pay cut and built a winning culture to let younger players shine.
Kobe cashed out and had no intention of taking a backseat and is still chucking. Not comparable.

The Lakers had ample opportunity in signing and trading for "good" players. Not sure how anyone paying attention could suggest otherwise.

No they really didnt have any oppurtunity. After Kobe ran Dwight and Gasol out of town before they could be traded, nobody good was gonna sign with the Lakers to play backseat to Kobe who to this day still is a league leader in shot attempts.

Yes, they did. Last summer the Lakers completely dropped the ball in free agency.

And no, Kobe never "ran Gasol out of town". Dwight =/= Shaq; Dwight =/= Gasol just an FYI.
