I highly disagree. Roy Hibbert went from owning bosh in the playoffs to literally being unable to grab a damn rebound and that's with him being the biggest dude in the court night in and night out usually.

so roy hibbert alone would cost them the series? hell they got to the ecf just fine in 2014 and didn't look pathetic until they met the heat. lets be honest these cavs aren't those heat teams. younger but inexperienced....against an would of been experienced pacers team. Idk man....

Cavs match up much better against those Pacers than Miami did. The only reason why those Heat-Pacers series were close was because Hibbert/West always went off on the smaller Bosh/Battier/Haslem frontcourt. With Thompson, Love and Mozgov, West and Hibbert wouldn't have that size advantage anymore.

What the above poster said, don't quote me but i'm sure Hibbert averaged like 24/10 vs Miami. West had a good series as well and in 2014 they still had Hibbert. That team overachieved because they were a nightmare match up vs Miami due to the big men they had. This current cavs team would wipe the floor with them if you ask me

Pacers should sign Whiteside this year, Turner and Whiteside would make a ridiculous front court and make up for that small back court. they'd be great in the playoffs when the game slows down, not as much in the regular season but
George Hill
Monta Ellis
Paul George
Myles Turner
Hassan Whiteside

Away from home base for a little while.
I thought the firing had to happen, but I don't think Blatt was ever given a real shot by the players (specifically LeBron). I still think he's a good coach in the right situation (like the one he was originally hired for). I didn't like the media hit squad that took great joy in kicking the man while he was down.
I will say I've liked the adjustments Lue has made and obviously the players are responding to him in a way that they never did for Blatt.

I disagree.
The Cavs abandoned their offense in the second half tonight. That was why the game tightened, along with untimely turnovers, missing massive amounts of free throws and giving up a ridiculous number of offensive rebounds.
But, if they stick with the faster paced offense and actually run plays, even when they're struggling, this team is capable of beating anyone in the league. Where they start to fail is when the offense grows stagnant, like tonight.
Good to know they can still will a win on talent alone, though. Every game isn't going to be an offensive masterpiece. Sometimes, you have to win ugly.
