Dude thought he had scored a game-winner, took a bow after finally hitting a three all game, Jazz proceed to win the game in OT

wasn't even a real celebration. i mean, he immediately went to the hustle and see what the defensive plan was going to be next.

I bag on Rose every chance I get but that was not a real victory celebration, just some cocky showmanship, which I love.

As some have said it wasn't really a celebration of winning the game, more so just some cockiness after hitting the shot, bit of confidence in Rose is good

Also reminded me of this lmao, not as bad as this was though, or maybe worse, depends how you look at it

Yea, this ain't comparable though, it's like the GOAT premature celebration, and it was somehow warranted since there was only less than a second left :oldlol:

Maybe he was celebrating the shot, not the win, thus not being premature. :confusedshrug:

I watched it live, and def. thought dude, thats a bit premature to take a bow.. usually you do that on a buzzer beater, not with 19 seconds left..

You internet nerds gonna tell a player how to celebrate a made clutch basket? :lol

"you can't take a bow after a clutch 3 on the road with 19 seconds left"
"only high fives and a pat on the ass is allowed"

I'm a Jazz fan and I thought it was appropriate. I think it's a cool thing personally, because it's either a cool highlight for the Bulls if they win, or an even cooler one for the Jazz if they win. Still funny how it backfired

Hit a big shot. Put the pressure on the other team to respond or lose. I dont think it was too offside to celebrate a bit.

It's not like he tore off his jersey, ran to the bench and started packing up his gear thinking it was over...

Nobody has ever accused Rose of being smart.

He was celebrating the shot and vindication of the refs sorry play calling, not the game idiots. We're talking about a guy that lead the league in scoring in close 4th quarters and winning those games. BEST in the LEAGUE. But it's worse when you watch the game and can't tell the dynamics happening. Even in the clip above its states the Bulls rushed the play and Rose shot it early intentionally. It's at desperation level for you guys.

It's being blown out of proportion.

"This is Derrick
Derrick hits clutch shot
Derrick gives bow
Derrick's team loses the game

Don't be like Derrick"

The open court on that shot is pretty funny. Reggie was like "MJ is retired and this league is mine now." The bowing in front of the Chicago crowd was his way of expressing thusly. Then Kukoc hits his shot and the first person to meet Reggie was Steve Kerr mocking him with a bow. Kerr da badass

Open Court is the best NBA show hands down, wish I could find every episode in full
