Good for him. I don't know that he can find a team that wants to give him major pt but I respect guys that want to play, and he hasn't hurt the locker room in spite of his dissatisfaction. Wish him the best.

I remember back when he was "the man" of the Knicks. He's a cool guy. He doesn't start fights or arguments. Just wants to play, doesn't give up. Hopefully a team utilizes what he has left, because he seems to have potential, just isn't motivated enough.

David Lee should probably sit the rest of this season and focus on coming back to the Warriors in the summer in better condition and with more ability.

Clippers would be a good fit. The Thunder could use him too.

David Lee + Jae Crowder for Dwight Howard would be just fine if they want to dump his contract for a better player.

The Warriors started having success when he moved to the bench last season, which kinda made him expendable, not to mention his injury.

He definitely still has a place in the league, but not with his contract. Young teams won't want to play him at the expense of younger guys, and older teams won't want to pay for him. His best bet is to get traded/bought out and sign with a contender, which kinda sucks because he's only 32 and definitely still has game left. He can obviously sign with the Spurs or Warriors and ride the bench to a ring, or he can sign with a team on the verge of contending and play a more significant role.

It's not a matter of ability. When Lee has played this season, he's played well.

This move has been coming for awhile. Lee could help a lot of teams, but I'd like to see him land on the Wizards. They could really use a front-court player who can pass and score. Hornets might be a good fit too.

celtics apparently interested in trading howard.

that could end very well for the rockets.

jae crowder has stepped up big for BOS this season. id HATE for them to trade him for a dwight rental.

how would david lee mesh with UTA and a defensive presence in gobert/favors, hiding his shortcomings.

saw that Raptors are looking for a PF too. particularly morris. but an expiring lee may be a good season-end fit, too

Attach a second round pick to Lee and you can have Hibbert.

Dude has been nothing but a pro since putting on the uniform. He's been a great influence on a young, impressionable group of guys where a lot of other guys could have raised hell. He's got a ring, got some money and he's probably got a few years left in him.

It'd be nice to get something useful for him, but he's certainly not part of any package for a big-time player.

Hope he lands on his feet wherever he goes after Boston. :applause:

With Joakim Noah out the Bulls he might be a good fit there with Gasol and Gibson. Otherwise Dallas would be nice to get Charlie Villanueva out of that rotation. I can believe I wanted him back in 2008 and that he's still in the league.

Back to Golden State at a discount.

I wish him all the best, though his stint was short, you can't put a value on experience. Hopefully a team that is in dire need of a PF can pick him up, Washington, Pacers, Portland just to name a few.

It would be interesting if he went back there. He left there mutually because he couldn't crack the rotation towards the middle to end of last year. I would suspect this would be the same outcome. He didn't even want to stay after they won the Finals.

Wouldn't mind him on the pistons.

Not doubting he wouldnt have cracked lineup as with last season, but I thought the main reasons he was dealt was because Boston wss willing to take on the remaining money and Golden State needed the cap space for Draymond?

I don't see how he fits there with Dre. The Pistons need a guy who can knock down outside shots at PF.

I thought the guy with a massive growth on his head has been shit this year and the Jason Thompson pickup has been a bust. Don't think he ends up back in GS tho.

Toronto got interest?
