Are we playing by today's rules? Does West get time to adjust?
I take West based on his overall career (so far) and being a better defender. He was a good shooter, so that should translate to knocking down threes. He was also an excellent playoff and finals performer.

Wasn't West listed at a shorter height than he actually was?

Cavs would have to confirm that, his measurments escape me atm
Funny side note, in 2k15, and 16 he's on 3 different teams. One in the 60s, two in the 70s. On the first and last he's 6'2, the middle only 6'0....How they missed that twice is beyond me lol

Jerry West claims he's 6-4 and 1/2, he claims he's not sure why he got listed 6-3

I would take Curry if I get Klay and Draymond as well. Otherwise what's the point?

West is the most complete 2 guard to ever play the game aside from Jordan and, maybe, along with Kobe ("maybe", because Kobe stopped playing serious defense halfway through his career, while West never stopped being a tenacious defender). All this, aside from what he's actually achieved. Peak for peak, Curry is still arguable due to his offensive onslaughts, career wise, not even close.

West was a better player, Curry is slightly better shooter, considering eras.

Career is West obviously.
Having watched film of his, or what is available online, I believe Curry is the actual better player with more skills. Not a knock on the logo; he's probably got one of if not THE best pullup jumpshots in NBA history along with better defensive principles.
Curry has that Magic Johnson type of impact on offense though. Dude might be the greatest off-ball player ever, and with the newly constructed rules, he's basically unstoppable out there.

At this point I honestly don't know who I'd pick....Which says a lot. I guess it'd depend on the rest of the team, but even then

When u think about it, West MAY HAVE BEEN the first guard to be great at shooting (from anywhere on the court), dribbling, and dimes. West didn't have flashy handles. BUT he had a great PG type ball control with his handles.
Peak or best player wise, I think BOTH are among the top 10 guards of all time. To be frank, I think u could go either way peak-better player wise. West is the better all around player. While Curry is SLIGHTLY the more dynamic offensive weapon.
And when u look at Curry and West, they ACTUALLY are more similar than what people realize. Even though Steph is smaller than West, he is the EVOLUTION to guys like West and Pistol Pete in many ways.
