NYK tank for future (blake sit out rest of the season).

Clipper get a better fit + stay in contention for this year.

Knicks don't have their pick, I think they'd do it anyway.

I think it benefits both sides to an extent but if you're the Clips you can't do that deal.

NY has nothing to tank for.

I think NY takes it, Blake will at least put more people in seats and it's not like they're going anywhere with Melo anyways.

Clips could do it if they're REALLY desperate, and if they're on like a 5-10 game losing streak or something.

Knicks need a pg, they dont need a forward that would stunt KP's devevelopment

Melo is turning 32 and Blake is currently the better player. I don't know about fit but value wise the Knicks should take it. Not like they're contending now or likely will be for a few years, if ever with their current core.

Clippers throw away their future for a career loser that will in no way make the Clippers a contender against the top teams in the west.

This.

Is it just me or am I the only one who feels like the Knicks would have to sweeten the deal?
