View Full Version : Seriously what is increased physicality or hand going to do about this?

I mean this guy has a cavalry of blockers (and that exactly what they're doing because those are not screens) like Julian Edelman catching a screen pass from Tom Brady

Consider he probably came of about 5 OFF BALL screens BEFORE they even went into that action. Then the dude comes off it and casually buries a 28 foot shot..I mean...WHAT IS THAT?

and some old goofy on here really thinks it's a simple exercise to stymie this guy. I hate guys like him, type a cat a sit there watching some dude getting whooped on by prime Mike Tyson and insists the way to beat Tyson is by simply "hitting him back" :facepalm

you old ass goofballs need to stop man you are embarrassing yourselves

Oh league DEFINITELY needs to do something about GSW run blocking though, this aint goddamn football. I thought KG was bad Draymond and Bogut are just flagrant with this stuff, oh but let me guess in the 80's referee's were much more stringent on that sort of stuff so it wouldnt have worked right? smh

Can't see your image, but believe it or not, while greater physicality was allowed, they were definitely more strict about moving screens back then. No way would GS or anyone get away with the type of screens they set today.

Of course anything that could possibly be an advantage for modern day basketball was strictly forbidden and just the opposite for everything that was/is an advantage for old school bball in today's game

Got it loud and clear bud

BTW, them screens is illegal as all hell it really ancillary to my overarching point though a handcheck cant do SHIT when a dude run off 5 million screens and makes a 28 footer consistently...cut it out

You mean he came off 5 moving screens and illegal holds holy shit I never noticed how much illegal off ball shit GS gets away with to protect curry. Is Bogut literally grabbing/detaining Shumpert by holding onto his leg - after body checking him while on the move!?

Both of those screens are flagrantly illegal and would be called offensive fouls back then, thus he wouldn't lose his primary defender.

Hell...those are called illegal a lot of the time now...that 2nd one is just ridiculous...no surprise the golden boy of the NBA is allowed to receive these kind of screens now.
