Gonna be a long night w/ Kobe's last game in San Antonio & OKC-GSW game after that.

Good for 2. Pick anything you want.

I've had a lot of pizza recently and realized that they're all local pizza joints. Not Dominos or Pizza Hut.

We ordered two party-size pizza at work yesterday too.

You guys prefer the big name chains or local places?
In terms of pizza & ordering by phone or online, I'm stuck with Dominos since Pizzahut doesn't deliver to where I live & there's no Pizzahut nearby to where my parents live.

Pizzahut is my favorite just because of the cheese crust, Dominos second.

Olives? Gross

I can't even taste it. I usually put mushrooms, but it ends there. I don't eat mushroom outside of pizza or Jollibee steak. I really don't know why I do this. Pizza introduced me to olives. :lol

I stopped ordering from pizza places like papa Johns, pizza hut and dominoes. I go to the real pizza shops now, their more expensive but it's truly better

Small talk much.

like local pizza joints? yeah, i feel like you get better deals out of them, even if they're a bit pricier.
Yeah local.

Their the best especially if you're from NY. 1000% percent blows other big names away. And it's any restaurant here too. Haven't found a bad local pizza shop since I've been alive and there's one on every block.

Have you been to Ginos? There's one in front Queens college, another near Queensborough community college and one on crossbay. My favorite place.

I normally get buffalo chicken pizza.
But last week I had bbq chicken. Normally like ranch and bacon on it too.

Spinach does not go well with Garlic white sauce. I thought they were going to cut it up & spread it around. I'm gonna have fun with the sandwhich. Pizza's good though.

I'm turning this thread to a weekend food for whoever wants to post their breakfast/lunch/dinner.

yours look pretty good - olives/peppers/sausage/pepperoni ...just needs some mushrooms.

though i prefer 2 or less toppings instead of several like you ordered.
Yeah, I always do order with mushrooms, just that time I didn't. :lol Perfect timing.

Jeez that looks greasy.

On the same note, i made some badass chicken

2 tablespoon paprika
2 tablespoon brown sugar (dark)
2 tablespoon chili powder
2 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon onion powder

Dry rub thinly cut and checkered chicken breast
Cook elevated on a rack for 25 minutes, broil to char

Yeah. lol

How do you keep a chicken from giving that dry taste? That's what I hate about homemade chicken, they don't taste tender or tasty inside.

Making sure you're cooking monitoring internal temp rather than time. You could always go with a pressure cooker or slow cooker if dry chicken is what you're worried about. And there's brown cuts that have fat within them so you're less likely to dry it out.

Sometimes toppings just get in the way of good pizza....

one of these nights, get an extra cheese pizza and garlic breadsticks. The order 3 Marinara sauces.

Dip the pizza slices in the Marinara sauce. Boom. You got great stuff. All these vegetables and meat stuff take away from the ageless flavor of pizza.

Damn. Sounded like a credible food critic :oldlol:

If you are going to order from dominos...you have to go with their pan pizzas. Their regular hand tossed pizza is meh and none of their pizza is going to be as good as a local more expensive place...but I feel their pan pizza is by far the best pizza from one of the big boys. I always just get their two medium two topping pan pizza deal with pepperoni and mushroom on one and sausage and green pepper on the other when I order from them.

No end thick crust, it's crispy and thin. It's thick, a lot of cheese compared to normal pizzas, I think.

The Domino's equivalent of Sicilian.

I just really find it hard to appreciate pizza, that's why I always fill it up with toppings, it was good at first but now I'm sorta done with pizzas, tbh. That would probably be my last one until winter. :lol

The Domino's equivalent of Sicilian.
Only Sicilian has more dough under the layer of cheese/toppings.

I see. I will try to practice pressure cooking. I fear it blowing up.

Get a electric one, it's seriously push a button and walk away easy. It also doubles as a slow cooker. You can make pulled pork in 30min.

Wait, what? Oh, okay. Wow, I'm learning a lot, honestly. I didn't even know there was such a thing as electric pressure cooker. Wow. :lol

If you need to go with a pressure or slow cooker to cook chicken right...you have no business cooking chicken in the first place. It's not ****ing rocket science...if you are cooking anything but breast you should never have a problem with overcooking it...you put it on your grill or in your oven at 350-375 for 35-45 mins...I don't honestly understand how some people can be so inept at cooking. I'm a big fan of cooking because I enjoy how you can be creative with it and I enjoy it as a way to show my loved ones how much I care. I find it a peaceful and fun hobby to try new things.
