I love how Pop challenges him to defend the likes of Curry, Westbrook, Durant, James and he isn't afraid to do it. If he continues to develop like he has done so far, it'll give the Spurs another elite wing defender, which also allows Kawhi to take a rest on defense every now and then.

What a well-run organization. Can't laud them enough. It's not that they made Simmons a better basketball player, per se -- it's that they recognized talents in him that no other team did, and then properly integrated those talents into there system. Talent evaluation, rather than talent transformation.
