So this is an interesting thread. Back in 2012, my best friend and I had a talk about who was better at the time, Iggy or Deng?

I often stated Deng was more capable in term of stats but Iggy was a lot more of a subtle player who helped a team a lot and was significantly more athletic. I told him I would take Deng if I was a fringe contender and Iggy if I'm a franchise desperately trying to rebuild.

Deng is a good player but can't put a contender to a championship. Iggy has the X factor as a 6th man/bench player to bring in spurts of offense and very solid defense on the opposing teams best players playing the 2 or 3. Crazy how his resume has changed since even if his numbers have had quite a drop off. Olympian, Finals MVP, former All Star on the bench? The fact he can put his ego aside proves that this Warriors team has great team chemistry and one goal, championships and not individual stats.
