The information is coming fast and furious. Apparently there is STRONG sentiment that Jackson will coach the Knicks next year and lure Durant.

All of a sudden New York is poised to become THE PLACE.

Its a beautiful thing :)

I highly doubt it, I feel like Jackson would coach only after Durant signs, which is unlikely unless Phil is committed first. I'm not too versed on Phil's history but I feel like he only coaches teams that already have championship potential. Quick question, who came first? Gasol or Jackson to the Lakers? That'll help a little bit

Lebron and Durant are free agents. Phil will find a way to fit them under the cap.

Lebron
Durant
Melo
KP6
Lopez

One can't be surprised that such rumours would arise from any team that Phil is employed with. Whether there's substance to them or not, the media is gunna do what the media does.

Jackson coaching DEPENDS on getting a guy like Durant. No superstar, no coach Jackson. That is the way it has always been.

Apart from Durant potentially signing with another franchise, PJax returning to the coaching fold would dominate basketball talk. Seeing him coach another '94 Bulls-esque team would be awesome.

Will they fire kurt rambis? Last jax said on coaching was he couldn't travel to road games and wouldn't attend practices.

Exactly my point, he started coaching with Peak Shaq and an All-Star Kobe already in place. Also I'm 21 as of last Wednesday

He's not going to coach the knicks. He's going to guard his coaching win percentage. He doesn't coach teams that can't win and prop him.

He has a very strong desire to succeed I believe he will use that tactic as something to lure Durant. I can see him doing all the home games and playoffs as he suggested to the Lakers

You think the league and Dolan will go for this - cause it's the only way he'd consider it, what with his treatments and all.

If so, Phil gunna need NASA to build him a chair like this so he can hover the sidelines to yell at Carmelo's bad defense
