VORP, TS%, PER, RPM, BPM, RAPM, WS, WS/48 etc.

I'm arguing with some stat nerd that this was the worst superstar playoff series of all time maybe second to Ewing's 94 FInals. This is a dude that stays bringing up "advanced stats" but all of a sudden when it comes to this series he wanna talk about some damn "tenacity" :oldlol:

27/8/6 35% 5 TOPG

One of you stat goofies help me out, I need nerd ammo.

Dunno but he player better vs those Celtics than Kobe did in the Finals vs the same team

He also took them to 7 games with 0 help while Kobe lost in 6 with Pau Gasol

0 help? He had the best rebounding team in the league and a top ten defense, Illgauskas, Delonte and Hughes were decent offensively lo @ zero help.

They lost a road game by 2 points with dude going 2/18 with 10 turnovers, you cant be serious.

He did scored 48 points vs. Paul Pierce in Game 7. It was basically a 23 yrs.old LeBron vs. one of the best defensive teams of all time.

Bron had a better performance than Kobe against the same Celtics team. Cavs only won 47 games during that season.

But Odom and Gasol were better than them. And the 57 wins Lakers only managed to win 2 games in the NBA Finals.

Thought it was 45, but that really doesn't matter. I think even if advanced stats say it was a bad series, doesn't change the fact that LeBron had to go up against an all-time great team where (at least) 3 of the top 4 players by a significant margin belonged to the other side

You can go check the advanced stats here and calculate the rest, advanced stats in a series are pretty misleading and aren't really much better than raw box scores for a 7 game sample.
