They went 40-42 in a BRUTAL western conference with Love averaging 26, 13, and 4.

The season after he left...16-66.

I can't believe this isn't talked about more often.

The Wolves haven't made the playoffs in what... 12 years after this season is over ?

11 losing seasons in a row. KG's Wolves in 04/05 went 44-38.

On Love, it's clear the Wolves tanked after he got traded and the Wolves had the most man games lost to injury.

Love is THAT good.

Bran plays with TWO franchise players in their primes...AGAIN.

Maybe because Rubio was hurt most of the season, Brewer left, Love left, and Pevlovic was hurt I believe. They also brought in rookies Zach Levine, Wiggins, and bennett. This was a team that was letting their rookies learn how to play the game. Similar to the Lakers at this point but the Lakers do have Kobe.. Who is still Brilliant at times..

Kevin Martin only played half the season as well

Rubio missed 60 games, Pekovic 50, K-mart missed 30+ that season...

And it's not like they are aiming for the Playoffs right now...they still want a pick this year like they did last yr to get Towns.

Love is good but he doesn't have that much impact.

I asked them (ISH posters) name me another star PF in this league that could have led that Wolves team to the playoffs in the West. They were never able to mention even one name. :facepalm But they quickly ready to scream "Empty Stats"

+ no Rubio, Martin, Pekovic... and the rest were all injured/dnp that season missing 70% of the games, the only players who played more than that were Lavine & Wiggins...

is 40-42 supposed to be impressive? It's mediocrity.

Love was the best PF in the world that season.

That too.

It's infact the worst position you can be at. Sub. 500 record, not high enough to make the playoffs or being in great playoff seeding and not low enough to be in great draft position.

Reminds me of the Bosh Raptors lol....

But this stalker ****** will tell you Bosh was the best PF that year.

Oh god, bringing back some bad memories.

:oldlol:

According to DRTG, the 09/10 Raptors team is the Top 10-15 worst defensive team since inception of that stat. Which is why I always take Bosh's numbers with a bit of salt especially if you watched that team play. His defense was the worst since hitting his prime that season. What's the point getting 24+ at high efficiency if you can't stop the other team from scoring on you and your the anchor ?

It's not all on him off course, it was a bad team defensively overall. Triano didn't know how to install a proper defense either.

Also, for 10, probably would have gone with Dirk that year.

They wouldn't be in a better position with any other PF, Kevin Love achieved the max out of that Wolves team.

that one guy Cone he will never show up on this thread

I was steady on watching Nikola Pekovic smashing things at that time....... caught nearly every wolves game.

Cone was endless spam city about empty stats those whole years. where is fire Kahn at? He could tell you about that too.

There was no reasoning with that hatred at all. It was like cone went bat-with-rabies crazy whenever Kevin Love got mentioned

Back off, cone!!

So basically the same thing that happened to the Cavs after Lebron left them, right?

Yet, he is still only 33% in the finals :oldlol: :facepalm
