Most great rebounders have managed to do this at least once in their career, but I don't think that Dwight has. It usually requires a 30+ rebound effort.

Last night, Dwight passed Jack Sikma for 28th on the all-time rebounding list. He'll probably finish the season 25th or 26th on the list.

24. Patrick Ewing - 11607
25. Elgin Baylor - 11463
26. Dolph Schayes - 11256
27. Bill Bridges - 11054
28. Dwight Howard - 10829
29. Jack Sikma - 10816

Any idea how many times this has happened?

Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell probably did it many times. Most of the other great rebounders (Dennis Rodman, Moses Malone, Charles Barkley) probably only did it once or twice in their careers. Outside of that, it probably has seldom happened.

So I guess not most then.

My wording was a little off. Most of the greatest rebounders have done it once.

Actually, Wilt and Russell probably have not done it many times.

Love was probably the closest in the modern era.

31 rebounds for Love vs. 43 for the Knicks.

vucevic beats that.

Vuc grabbed 29 (franchise high for Orlando) Miami as a team got 33. He pulled down more offensive boards (11 vs 9) than the whole miami team in that one.

He is probably too old at this point.

I mean he has put up a couple 20+ rebound games and I believe one game where he was a few shy of 30 so it's not completely out of the question, but more so very unlikely.

What does an entire team generally put up on a given night? Anywhere between 38 and 50+ rebounds, give or take.

So he would need to have a huge night where the stars align and he nails about 30 to 32 rebounds while the opposition is stagnant on the boards.
Def gonna need some luck on his side to do this.

Howard is half a decade past his prime. Why would you ask this question now?

Rebounders can put up huge numbers even late in their career. Charles Barkley is one example. He had a 33 rebound game when he was almost 34.

Howard grabbed 26 boards not three weeks ago.

OP, you still haven't clearly mentioned the players who actually did it and the number of times.

Vucevic always killed us. He had multiple 20/20 games against us.
