I just made a post in a thread about the next thugball team the other day and mentioned the Morris Bros and how idiots like these would fight their own teammates. :lol

Hopefully he ends up on the Kings just for the laughs.

Archie started showing emotions towards his teammates first. But yeah Kieff shouldn't have laid his hands on anyone

for someone who wants him.Brooklyn would offer Joe Johnson to get back a few players, including Markieff.

This guy is honestly one of the biggest losers in the league. When rumours spouted a few weeks ago that Massai was looking into trading for him, I face palmed.

Don't want him or his idiot brother anywhere near my team.

I'm sure the suns really appreciate that right before the trade deadline.

The Suns should stop getting the brothers in the NBA. They never had luck with any, always landing the wrong ones

Morris should go to the Clippers :yaohappy:

I'd kick him off the team. If Damian Lillard did this I'd want him gone. No one player is above the team.

Markieff was trying to console/encourage Archie, who started the game about as bad as he possibly could. Archie dismissed him. Markieff continued trying to coach up Goodwin, but [Goodwin] wasn't hearing it and instead swiped [Morris] away (saw in video). [Morris] then went nuclear. Coming out of that timeout, Archie was screaming and cussing at P.J. Tucker as well.

This was what happened on the bench.

Morris has made up with Goodwin. This is him postgame:

I remember Lebron and Chalmers going through the same thing in a highly anticipated National TV game against the Pacers..

That's not what it looked like. If that's what it really was then okay but it looked bad.

You know your team is in the wrong direction if Morris is considered a 'leader'

Good posts my friend. Archie deserves a Bright Slap.

This moment is what most people aren't seeing: https://twitter.com/HoopsonFOX/status/697649694076325888

Goodwin looks aggravated and Morris tries to calm him down but AG just ignores him. AG is seen mad on the bench and Morris tries to talk to him, I guess then AG just shoved him away and the rest is history.

Morris has always painted himself as a bad teammate when losing, but this time he wasn't at fault. His trade stock will still dwindle from this, but at least it's know that he tried to be a reasonable leader before his shoving match with Goodwin.

Back to back to back good posts my friend. I also thought Morris started the fight. Thanks for explaining the situations.

Now I know why Barkley went on an epic rant against this team.

I understand that Markieff isn't the one to start the mess, but imo it doesn't justify shoving your teammates right beside the court, whether he intended to be traded or not.

Warriors Basketball: Getting coaches fired, making opposing teams fight one another, and causing mass meltdowns.

Talk about overreaction thread... players in today's game get torn apart in social networking anytime they show emotion, and it's amplified for players that have had issues.

When you take the whole thing into context including that these guys lived together and are probably as close as anyone on a team that has had high player turnover in the last few years, this truly is more of "siblings" blowing up with frustration than a serious "f you" moment.

Everyone needs to chillax.

My hypothesis is that the Morris Twins are actually gay lovers who partake in incestuous activities and both are going through a rough patch in their relationship because they're spending so much time apart and it affects their relationship with their teammates.

Morris should have left Archie alone after he made it clear that he didn't want Marieff to console him.

It feels like Archie is in the wrong here.

Morris was trying to talk to him and Archie just shoved him for no reason at all

Joe doesnt wanna come back to phoenix, he left for a reasonThey'd buy him out so he can come off the bench for a contender. The Nets don't want to pay JJ his buy out, but they can get some disgruntled players in return for him.

Anyone condoning the physical aspect of that confrontation has clearly never been in a leadership role... or they were very bad in said role.

Leaders should be in control of their actions at all times, and their emotions most of the time (if not all).

That said... I'm not totally sure on trade rules, but I don't believe others FOs are allowed to speak with players prior to trading for them. But if I were going to trade for Morris, I'd like to have a conversation with him prior to. A very frank one. Just to see where his head is at. Because his motives seem fine. Just the execution was lacking. Nothing a little coaching wouldn't fix.

Pretty sure Suns would be ok with another team talking to him in hopes they trade for him.

While I agree that Goodwin might have needed some tough love, I don't think Markieff is the one to do it, and I don't think the bench is the best place to do it. Nobody wants advice from the team malcontent that just came off suspension.
