If it wasn't for the softest era in sports history of just about any sport Steph Curry would be sitting on the bench complaining about why he is a career journey man. Man even table tennis is more physical and intense then this generation of basketball. LOL even the early 2000s - Bowen/Artest would break Stephs legs and arms the first time they meet. "oh did i step into your jump shot landing zone?" my baaaaad
The rules the league implemented to protect jump shooters is so sad...Its like implementing modern day feminism on guys. Oh lets tone it down and make you shave your legs fellas! We wouldn't want you to look too manly now!........Whats next? No touching? Maybe no talking?
Stephs a good shooters but he wouldn't survive in the old man rules. He survives in a feminist ruled league.

Reggie Miller?
Is that the same guy who is known as the best trash talker in NBA and threw bows at Jordan/Kobe/Starks etc? Is he the guy who decided to deck Karl Malone of all people?
I love to see Steph smack up ZBO/DMC and throw bows with Artest/Jimmy Butler. Oh wait he will run to the bench and have Draymond and Bogut yell at them instead.

Basketball ability is more important than trash talk and throwing elbows - see Tim Duncan.
If Miller can average 24 a game on 50/40/90, why couldn't Curry?

Because he is small and weak? Some players would benefit from man rules where defensive players can hold you but you can also hook them and use your manliness to beat them off.
The defensive players could just literally pick up stick figure curry and hold him so he can't do jack sh1t. Now days NBA has turned from "No Boys Allowed" to "No Bullying Allowed."
Its like a school playground but with twenty teachers standing around gazing down at you.
I know there are heaps of betas on the board but real alphas never like a feminist changes. We are all for equality but let men play like men. Before you know it Basketball is going to be a no contact league.

But he's not small, he's 6'3. He's a PG not a SG. He also has a vastly superior handle, quicker release and further range than Miller. He also has a deadly mid-range game and can finish with both hands with lay-ups and floaters.

Grow up kid. Curry is a baby who will be man handled the crap out. Bill Lambeer would end his career in his first NBA game. Karl Malone will follow it up in the next game with a good old elbow which will probably crack his soft skull into 6 pieces. When soft boy comes back after 3 months after concussion, Jordan just picks him up in the air with his hand on defence and says "little boy im taking you to my locker room shower and if you don't come im going to break your legs tonight'. Guy is soft as charmin as Kobe says.
Wades a real man, Rondo messes with him int he 12 playoffs so Wade breaks his arm.
Steph wouldn't be able to play 12 games a season in the 80s/90s

There's some truth to that.
I always say that players are the same in every era, the only difference are the rules.
I think Curry's numbers would go down if he played in the 90s, but I also think that despite those lower numbers, that version of Curry would be a better basketball player than current version.
I'm a better basketball player when I play against this old guy that hand checks the hell out of me. My percentage is lower than when I play an average person, but I'm doing so much more and playing so much harder in order to score. Rather than simply blowing by man and laying it up.

I'll admit I was able to get close to that, weighing about 10 pounds less than Curry in 4 1/2 months... But I was completely focused on it and deadlifted like a mad man. Instead of Squatting 3 days a week deadlifting once, I did it in reverse. Really taxed my CNS doing so too. Had chicken legs, and no posterior chain so I was happy with the results
