Curry 2016 & Kawhi 2016 vs Lebron 2013 & Durant 2014
With coach Kerr ?

Kawhi is the weak link, I'll take Lebron + Durant.

Lebron and Durant easily. Kawhi is just not on the other guys' levels.

Curry needs a very specific group of players around him to succeed

-Size on all 4 positions

-Elite defenders in all positions

-Elite playmaking teammates

-Tall backup PG

-Spot-up shooters

-Elite rim protection

He needs a very specific group of skillset around him to succeed to mask his deficiencies, you cant just plug him into a team and make them succeed

He's not an All-round machine like LeBron, more like a borderline star that masquerades as a Superstar when put with a very specific group of players that are tailored around his skillset.

Put Curry on any other playoff team in the league, they barely win 50 games

In a game of two on two I'd probably take Lebald and Durant, but since the question is to start a franchise, I'd go with Curry and Kawhi

The reason, because Lebald is too ball dominant and makes other superstars much worse. Durant's role would be reduced to a Shane Battier

Curry and Durant are on a much higher level than the other two, although Kawhi has killed Lebald on several occasions

I agree, although the Battier reference is a bit much.

It is much easier to fit a team around Curry/Kawhi, even though they don't have as much talent as Lebron/Durant.

It's true Lebron doesn't need any special teammates, he will just transform anyone into Booby Gibson, even a prime Shaq.

Exactly this. Lebron makes other stars worse and as an owner I don't want to deal with lebron jumping to other teams if he doesn't get his way.

Lebron's ball dominance didn't affect Kyrie as much... I feel like Lebron + KD is just gonna wreck hovac... Could you imagine a small ball line up with Lebron and KD?

What? Lebron won 60+ games multiple seasons with an awful team, won multiple championships without a legit PG and C. Durant is playing just fine with a super ball dominant guard. It can't be easier to built a team around these guys.

Curry and Kawhi on the other hand are great players, but they are playing with elite systems to support them.

Lebron23

if you think about it. LeBron have more Finals MVP, and NBA MVP combined than Curry, Kawhi, and even Godrant.

Kyries just freezes out Lebald whenever he feels like it, plus he's a point guard so he gets to bring the ball up sometimes. Durant is too polite and passive to be more than a bail out guy with the shot clock winding down with Lebald

Lebron and Durant would be as dominant as Kareem and Magic in the early to mid 1980's.

It's an Alpha-Alpha relationship. Prime LeBron + Current Durant is like the Predator, and Alien teaming up.

How? Lebald holds the ball for 20 seconds all the time, then gets scared to take a tough shot so he dumps it off to a teammate for a contested jump shot. That's how he gets most of his assists

Where did I say that? I asked if you support a team or hoop at all. The reason I ask is because the only thing I have ever seen you post is a steady stream of trollish nonsense -literally nothing else.

Just from this thread alone:

Doubt that. Someone with even the most basic basketball ability or understanding would certainly have more respect for the 2nd GOAT (certified top 5 GOAT already) and another potential top 10-15 player.

Step your dribbling game and fan game up http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130919055618/steamtradingcards/images/7/7a/Steam_Summer_Getaway_Emoticon_B1.png

I am a loyal raptor fan from day one and support them first and foremost in every match-up. I have also been pretty consistent with the players that I support and am reasonable even with the ones I am not a fan of.

Stanning durant during his mvp season and then doing a 180 and stanning curry after he wins is ridiculous because those two teams are rivals. Thats like a laker fan bandwagoning the celtics after they won in 2008. And none of this excuses your garbage posting history. At least some trolls are occasionally funny. Step it up.

Plus Durant seems to bring out the best in LeBron, imagine these 2 guarding each other in practice plus the chemistry they'd develop. It just isn't a fair comparison.
