After years of spreading the truths regarding Kobe, the time has finally come that I've convince the world about that truth.

For years I worked in dedication, bring up numbers, facts, events, and situation which support my thesis that Kobe had always been highly overrated by the media and in general. Yes he had good team accomplishments, but most of it having to do with his incredibly good luck in always having the best teammates. That's proven when you take a look at his individual numbers, it's not Top 10 material. Top 10 - 20, but not top 10.

But the time has come, ESPN and SI have both been convince by my gospel that Kobe is not that good, and have both placed him at #12 all time (which I believe is a fair rank). When two of the biggest sports media both place the same player at the same rank, you know that there's no mistake and bias.

This victory has come not easy, especially with all the rampant kobe-tard fans around. But in the end truth will always triumph.

Thank you ISH, my work here is done. I officially announcement my retirement, and I would like to ask ISH to retire the number #12 in remembrance of me.

Dude

I questioned your talent after slumping post 'Kobe is better than MJ and this is why' thread, but you were able to rise once again to a championship level with the 2015 ISH MVP contest. As a top 5 finisher I greatly commend your efforts

Sweet dreams, superstar

You did this on the 11th... Seriously, one day later and it would have been the 12th...It was so obvious and you still screwed it up. :facepalm

12 is also too high. Kobe has no business being higher than Karl Malone, David Robinson, Hakeem Olajuwon, Patrick Ewing, Garnett, Dirk etc etc in all time list. What if he spent most of his career without hall of fame big men? He could have very well been like McGrady, Iverson, Ray Allen, Vince Carter, Carmelo Anthony. I mean, which all time greats have failed to make the playoffs during their prime years? The Lakers went from winning 60 to winning 34 after the Shaq trade. Even on his 81 points game he didn't shoot that well from the field as he only shot 54.2%(26-48). Of course 54% is fairly respectable, but there are guys who average 54% from the field. You would guess that in order for someone to score 81 in a game someone must have gone off, but in his case he just kept shooting. That was just so him.

Don't pretend you don't know who I am, you were one of the most desperate posters trying to get attention in my ISH MVP thread.

These rankings plus LeBron's invalidate the list. Kobe and MJ were just about the only people they put in the right places.
