Everyone with any sense whatsoever knows Kobe is easily top 10 and likely top 5; and Bran is not even top 10.

You can't stack two teams with three franchise players on each team in the weakest conference in NBA history; lose a majority of your finals; choke time after time...and expect to be a top 10 player of all time.

What Bran did by stacking those teams in THAT conference is unprecedented and cowardly; everyone knows it.

ESPN got scared and put out their list to try and recoup some of their investment into Lebron and their own credibility.

With Kobe's farewell tour, they could have milked it more by making Kobe top 5.

You have to understand that before the Lakers were sweaped by the Mavs, here on ISH, Kobe wasn't on most user's top 10 list. (As hard to believe as it might sound now.) And then Kobe got sweaped, and then there was this really aggressive push by the Kobe stans on ISH.

Repeat something enough, it slowly becomes reality.

And I remember being really amazed how Kobe just got sweaped, really bad, and he's now getting rewarded with being on the top ten list of most posters.

ESPN and Sports Illustrated is not ish, and so their list is not influenced by that aggressive push, and sounds like a top ten of old.

I also feel LeBron was too high on the list, but I also thought a lot of other current players were too high. Nonetheless, it's just a list at the end of the day. I thought it was pretty weird to publish he list during a season, but it certainly seems to have evoked a lot of conversation.
