There are some parallels between the wrestling GOATs and the the NBA GOATs.
Andre the Giant = Wilt. Dominated in a weak era.
Hulk Hogan = Magic Johnson. Raised the popularity of wrestling. Icon. Was the face of wrestling like Magic was the face of the NBA.
Brock Lesnar = Shaq. Simply the MDE.
Triple H = Kobe. Longevity and commitment/passion. Locker room cancer.
Undertaker = KAJ. Longevity. Professionalism and leadership.
Flair and eventually Cena = Bill Russell. The most titles.
The Rock = Jordan. The GOAT.
Stone Cold = LeBron James. Both could have been the GOAT but fell short.
Shawn Michaels = Larry Bird. Career cut short by back injury although Michaels did return.
Bret Hart = Tim Duncan. Both are boring and fundamentally sound. Both are great but often overlooked due to lack of flash.
