The "other ones" immigrate to Western Societies in a large scale , and the reverse is very limited. Our values/communities combined with our strong economies(which is a result of confidence instilled by our values), are second to none.

I remember as a kid seeing this huge billboard coming into Grand Junction, Colorado that was spray painted over, that said, "DO NOT CALIFORNINATE HERE!". I asked my dad what that meant. He told me the politicians that people had voted in, in Cali were destroying their state with hyperregulation and acceptance of illegal immigration, and we're fleeing to Colorado. The problem was the morons were trying to turn CO into the same dump they left behind.

How about what is the optimal set of values to fulfill a human being?

In that sense, I'd state that America has the best external environment, whereas the Muslim values promote the best internal environment (in matters of a tranquil, clean heart), and the Asian values promote the best interpersonal cohesiveness. Then again, there's so much overlap it would be wrong to exclude Muslim Values from the West; as anything Biblical is also Koranic, and anything dealing with honor and family and studies from the East also has similarities with ancient Judaic law.

To answer OP'S question....I live in the new world, yes, I prefer western values.

If people don't like it, they should find a more suitable environment.

Some prefer cold winters and some prefer warm winters. Go to the place you like or adapt to the weather.

Yes, and i wouldn't even call them western, so much as English, as developed through the common law. Things like the presumption of innocence and jury trial are the bedrock of any just civilization, where you can expect not to be flung in jail (or killed) by a mob or the state just because you've upset people, or because they've decided you're guilty in absentia, long after you're dead (like George Bell), or in some kangaroo court where you never had a chance. In this internet-dominated age we are in danger of losing these precious things, as most people are mindlessly obsessed with the abstraction of "democracy" and care far more about it than liberty and the rule of law (a completely different thing). Reputations are destroyed remarkably quickly nowadays, and guilt is presumed, rather than innocence. These are the things of the western tradition that i value above all others, but sadly, the west is busy destroying them in the name of democracy and multiculturalism.

I hate modern Western culture but I hate white people who turn into Buddhists/spiritualists/New Age even more.

Life probably hit its peak in the time of mystery religions a few hundreds before Christianity and during the eras where the Buddha and Socrates were walking around.

At the same time you have to have a respect for the tribalists and elementalists like the Australian Aborigines and the Druids back in Eyre, or eve the geomancers back in the days of the I Ching. Those people understood what life was about and put the earth above all.

Ok there Nick. Check the demographics, your state is getting dumber and less educated by the year. You still have nice areas but they are shrinking and becoming more and more segregated. Your senior citizens are still among the top 5 educated in the nation while your youth can barely speak English.
