This is the first season Silver implemented this and I love it personally. It gives the players almost a full week to rest and recover before the last stretch of the season. Plus waiting a few more days to watch the NBA will make it more bittersweet.

I thought it occurred last season as well

Looks like you're correct. Cavs had 8 games off last season.

I'm getting a bit bored of it but like you said I do like that teams get a chance to change things up. Most of the time during the regular season it's so hectic it's hard to implement new things on the fly.

Perfect time to watch a few college games and get to know some of the teams before the ncaa tournament starts.

This is smart, a nice way to avoid injuries before the trade deadline. Gives players a nice amount of rest too.

As frustrating as it is for fans, it is probably for the best.

Don't trade Kevin Love. Bulls might beat the Cavs again. Giving them a false hope in the playoffs.

College basketball :applause: Basketball in its purest form

Get Doris Burke off commentary though ESPN :wtf:

Missed a sweet game because I refuse to listen to hear commentary from a woman

Hopefully Mozgov is gone. Shumpert for Korver would be neat, start him and have JR back to 6th man.

Good chance nothing will happen though.

Usually the way.. All hype about heaps of trades, then all that will happen is a few bottom feeders swap an unknown for a 2nd round pick or some shit:lol

Damn, the Wizards have a back-to-back-to-back. I can't remember the last time that happened since the lockout season.
