If you hire Black cops to patrol in Black neighborhoods, then Blacks won't be able to use racism as a crutch any longer in these communities. Thus, you won't hear about so many racial issues in the news anymore. Blacks will just have to face the fact that they were wrong all along.

This would make any President look like a genius. That's why race relations were so good under Bush. He made it a point to surround himself and employ people of color. Our focus was on Islam during the Bush years and not on each other.

Obama has done the opposite. His focus is on social issues and he's lost the focus on terrorist Islam and look at where we're at today.

He finally wormed his way into the Senate in 2006, where he still ranks as one of the poorest members of Congress. Save for a municipal pension, Sanders lists no assets in his name. All the assets provided in his financial disclosure form are his second wife’s. He does, however, have as much as $65,000 in credit-card debt.

Sure, Sanders may not be a hypocrite, but this is nothing to brag about. His worthless background contrasts sharply with the successful careers of other “outsiders” in the race for the White House, including a billionaire developer, a world-renowned neurosurgeon and a Fortune 500 CEO.

The choice in this election is shaping up to be a very clear one. It will likely boil down to a battle between those who create and produce wealth, and those who take it and redistribute it.

what i bet would happen is that all the black officers would then be the ones bitching about racism because they'd be getting the toughest assignments. % of blacks in an area is pretty much the #1 indicator of crime for any city worldwide.

Bernie needs to sell that idea. I'm sick of hearing same Wall street stuff every time he speaks. He may not memorize key phrases like Robot Rubio, but he ALWAYS finds a way to bring Wall Street into every argument :lol . If he wants to win a general election, he will need the independents. Without the independents, he has no shot.

GOP knows all that, and that is why they rarely mention Bernie in debates/speeches. They know their real opponent is Hillary so they focus on her 95% of the time.

Look, I'm an independent. In my state (NJ), I can only vote in primary if I declare for a party. If Bernie doesn't give me a reason to declare for a party, I'm not voting. I'm not giving up my 'independent' label to vote for Hillary or the Republicans. Either Bernie sells me by showing he can be a general election candidate (which he hasn't so far) or I see no reason to vote in primary.

The job creators saw their income tax go from 70 down to 28% while the bottom bracket went from 10 to 15%. The biggest genius part was when he somehow managed to raise taxes 17 times while shifting the tax burden from the rich to the middle class AND at the same time keep pretty much all the non-rich Republican voters singing his praises as teh great tax cutter.

Put black officers in black cities...then there will be more trust between cops and citizens, and also no more headlines and chaos whenever a cop shoots a civilian (which will indeed happen again and again and again, as it is practically unavoidable). Sounds good to me.

He was a shrewd politician. Truly makes me curious why all the current Republicans want to be just like Reagan and the crowd sucks it up in speeches. Fox news still slobbering all over Reagan.

Sure, Soviets went under during his and G. Bush sr's watch, but people forget that the Soviets were reaching towards bankruptcy since early 80s. They were spending more on military than feeding their own people. All they could do from making them not overthrow the Soviet government was to keep them ignorant.

What did Reagan do that was so legendary and godly? Cut massive taxes and regulations across the board. It worked for a little while because there was no crisis or stress test until September 2001.
