Better SPOT UP shooter, Redick, Curry, Thompson or Korver

We know Curry is the better shooter off the dribble, but who's the better spot up shooter?

This season, he certainly is and could be argued as the best.

Redick is shooting the best percentage from the field (52.2%) and 3 pointers (48.8%), 2nd highest eFG (70.3%) and is 2nd in points (8) off catch and shoot plays.

Klay takes the most attempts and is very accurate too (44.4% from the field, 44.5% from 3) while scoring the most points (10.2) and Steph can create the most space for himself compared to the rest and is the most efficient off the group... which is pretty amazing considering the defense focuses on stopping him first.

Context wise, it's probably Steph as the best, but Redick is right there too.

I loved Korver before injury but right now Redick and the Splash Brothers are way over him.

The best guy might not even be in the NBA. Out of the ones you listed, it's either Curry or Redick this season. Korver hasn't been as good and Klay is streaky.

Just look at this year's percentages. Last year it was Korver by a mile (this year probably not). Curry wasn't even in the top 5 last year percentage-wise. This year I would imagine it's someone like Curry, Thompson, or even Kawhi.

jj and curry arent really spot up shooters...their mostly run off screens and catch and shoot

I'm thinking at his best, Korver is better as a spot shooter.

Korver has had a 14 year NBA career (and counting) solely because of his abilities as a spot up shooter.

He is the ULTIMATE spot up shooter. All the other guys can create better (much better in Curry's case), and have other things that make their game what it is.

But Korver is that dude when it comes to hitting threes without dribbling.
