The Clippers would improve but would the Cavs?

Both teams say no. Griffin is going to miss at least another month and will be rusty when he comes back. BG can also be a FA in 16.5 months and will be wanting a raise, whereas Love is under contract for 4.5 years.

Griffin is better than Love, even if he's not as good of a floor spacer. BG brings better defense and playmaking to the Clippers, whose biggest problem is wing scoring and defense. Love doesn't fix that problem.

Like I've said in many threads, if either LAC or CLE moves on from their PFs, they want a combo F, a 3&D wing, a young big, and some pick in return. Cleveland would transition to LBJ at PF nearly full time and LAC would commit to smallball exclusively if they move Griffin.

cavs say no... bran bran would be insignificant with no 3 point shooters

Blake Griffin shot better from 3pt land than Dwyane Wade ever has, yet he won two titles with the latter as his main sidekick.

unlike wade, griffin cant create his own shot from the perimeter. great at getting it off in transition or the paint, but thats lebrons area.

Bad trade for Cavs.
