The Spurs have had dominance over teams in the last 18 years, but nothing like this.

no they don't count playoffs
its was 4-2 on 2013 and duncan play all the games

Too bad they've already conceded home court advantage to GS.

They do count playoffs, you just need to read properly. Dubs' second victory of that series was in the Bay. The only win in San Antonio was game 2 of the 2013 series.

I remember this....we comfortably won the series but dubs fans talked for ages about how they almost won it lol

Now I think about it..they've always been a bit stupid tbh

How many of those Warriors teams were as good as this one?

When they play this year anyway? Rematch should be interesting.

Here's a note for most of you Dubs fans. The Warriors were a really shitty franchise before Curry. They were the closest in comparison to the pre-CP and Blake Clippers.

So what are you trying to say? That if the Spurs steal 1 in Golden State, the series is a wrap?

No one says we almost won the entire series, but the Dubs blew a 15 point lead in the 4th in Game 1 :facepalm

Going back to Oakland up 2-0 would've been pretty impressive :confusedshrug:

Jeez, why do you hate GS fans so much?

Thanks for the heads up. I guess the years with Baron Davis and Captn Jack sucked too. Along with the RUN TMC years. Just had some shitty management in the 90s and early 00's(trading penny and vince carter). Way different than the Clippers.

It goes a lot further than that...you must not come here much...its not standard excitement...its cockheadNess.

Look...I do come across a bit angry on here I admit haha
I tend to take my anger out on the Internet rathrr than IRL tbh

Better to piss off the Internet than those around you haha

So what you are telling is that the Warriors were a joke after the 70's up until a few years ago. Thanks. I pretty much mentioned that already.

I posted because of the thread title. The Spurs have consistently been one of the best teams and the Warriors have been really bad for most of the 1-34 run. People are acting like this is groundbreaking shit.

their key players are extremely arrogant imo (although they respect SAS), but people have anger it is their fans acting as if the franchise has a history of Lakers, Celtics or something

Just calling what I see my man. I don't see a lot of arrogant, cockhead warriors fans around here especially considering the level of dominance they are showing this year. Nothing wrong with being excited and a little cocky with your team when they are the champs already and are on a record pace right now. There are the trolls and stans running wild but I wouldn't call them gsw fans.

If I were a Spurs fan I would be a little salty, Warriors are achieving this dominance by taking a brand of bball that the spurs are famous for and doing it better. I am not a GSW fan btw, well probably consider me on the wagon because I like watching them more than anyone atm and don't follow any team.

What does this matter if Duncan isn't healthy and there to play?
Spurs wont have home court against the Warriors.

Stats are skewed. The "Tim Duncan Era" ended around 2005.

It's been the Tony Parker Era since then and now the Kwahi Leonard Era.

I think it depends a lot on where you stand also, I like Curry and the warriors a lot therefore their fans living it up doesn't bother me whereas when the heatless were in full swing I hated everyone of their fans pretty much.

I actually thought Spurs fans would appreciate the Warriors team, they play a very similar brand of basketball and Kerr has connection to SA.

Kerr has taken SA's beautiful game and put it on steroids with players in their prime and MVP Curry.

Reminds me of the Laker fans that would come to Warrior games, and stand up and shit talk any time the Lakers made a bucket. I know there have been a lot of bandwagon Warrior fans and young Warrior fans in general, but I don't see them being as bad on the road.
