You beat me to it.

I did create one for his 48th birthday.

I remember getting negged by Kobe fans, who are a bit more accepting of Jordan now, but were brutal back then. Now all of a sudden he's 53.

Watch the play at 6:35. Look how quick he goes from the triple threat, baseline and then the explosion at the rim. 3 moves in like 1 second. The guy had unreal quickness.

MJ was truly the perfect bball player. 6'6", 200 lbs, long arms, huge hands, quick like a guard, explosive, fluid, agile, balanced, fast, great body control and could play through contact. If you went into the lab and tried to construct the perfect physical traits for a bball player, you got MJ. He had no weaknesses in his physical traits. Almost all of his traits were GOAT level.

Exactly. That aspect gets overlooked (like I just did) when discussing MJ's greatness. Almost every opponent that played against MJ marvel at his stamina and energy level and ability to go harder more than anyone. He was relentless on tne court on both ends.

Sorry but your boy came up several levels short of the GOAT. He tried to copy the walk, the talk and everything else. Enjoy watching that single play over and over again. How old is MJ on that play? 40? Lol. Do you realize how badly MJ would've done Kobe if MJ was 23 and Kobe was 40?

Wow, so many amazing plays. I've always felt that the dunk at 4:55 is one of the most underrated dunks of his career. Crazy air off a quick hop step in tight quarters, jams on two guys, then stares them down. Very similar to the dunk on DRob at the 6:40 mark. No one in history was able to get as much air, and get up into the air as quickly, off a quick hop step with such little knee flexion as Jordan. Amazing.

Also the split of the P&R and dunk at 7:58 - just blazing speed and acceleration. He covered ground faster than anyone in history in the halfcourt imo. In my opinion there will never bee a better player than him. As good? Possibly. But not better.

He was literally the perfect basketball body/talent ever.

And most already know this but no one turned defense into offense quicker than MJ. And I would agree that no one could stay with MJ in a 50-60 foot sprint. MJ has literally hundreds of these breakaway dunks and I haven't seen him get caught or lose ground once. He was like Jerry Rice in that he might not beat you in a foot race but on the football field, no one catches him.

I saw the play you talked about at 4:55 and that's the exact type of play I referenced earlier in this thread. And you perfectly described the reasons why.

Lol. Now I saw the 7:58 dunk. You get it sir. Good to know there's another MJ fan out there who appreciates him for some of the same things I appreciate him for. Poetry in motion on a basketball court.
