Bron most likely wouldnt have won shit with Gasol and Odom. Gasol is a low/mid post scorer at a position Lebron likes to tell to go sit in a corner. We all saw pau in 2011 when this happened to him, with Bynum taking his spot on the block.

Odom is a ballhandler/creator, the more you take that away from him the more he will shrink.. giving him freedom to do those things gives him the confidence to do everything else (elite defense + rebounding).

Bron would cripple those two plus its a collection of three mentally fragile players.. they would choke like all hell.

Wade w/ kobe isnt an ideal pair.. wouldnt mind seeing them duke it out mid court after half a season together.. but Kobe would build a dynasty w/ Bosh after he kicked Dwayne's ass to the curb.

Gasol is one of the best passing big men of all time, and you think he would play bad with LeBron?

To answer the question (in terms of the playoffs):

2011 Wade and Bosh > Gasol and Odom
2012 Wade and Bosh > Gasol and Odom
2013 Wade and Bosh < Gasol and Odom
2014 Wade and Bosh < Gasol and Odom

Clarification: Referring to 2008-2010 Gasol and Odom

:biggums: Do you ever stop trolling? Bosh missed half the playoffs in 2012. The ONLY year that Wade and Bosh have an argument for is 2011, and even that is questionable with how shitty Wade was in the ECF. :no:

Bosh did miss some time in the playoffs in 2012, but your math isn't very good if you think he missed half. Bosh was definitely more valuable in that playoff run than Odom ever was for the Lakers, especially given the Heat's lack of size. Wade was obviously outstanding at 23/5/4/1.7/1.3 and great defense.

Wade and Bosh in 2011 were easily better than Gasol and Odom. Wade was a top 2 overall playoff performer that season and Bosh was excellent as well.

Wade alone > Pau and Odom
Adding Bosh is overkill

Kobe never got this type of help from Pau and Odom

2011 = Wade: 25/7/4

2011 = Bosh: 19/9

please find me the post-season that Pau/Odom were better than that

I'd like to see any Finals team from the past 25 years that had 2nd & 3rd option production like that. Makes LeBron not winning the title that year all the more inexcusable

Gasol averaged 19/11 in 09' and 10' :confusedshrug: there is simply no match for Wade though

yeah so at their best Kobe's 2nd option was putting up the same stats as Lebron's 3rd option while Lebron's 2nd option at his best blows Kobe's 3rd option out of the water.

maybe 86 Mchale and Parish/ 87 KAJ/Worthy

other than that I can't think of any 2nd & 3rd options who were better than Wade in Bosh over an entire finals run in 2011

Everyone knows they were great in the 2011 playoffs, but for some reason they get underrated in 2012. Bosh suffered an injury and missed some games, but he was actually better than 2011 when he was on the court. Better per-minute production, more efficient, and a higer PER. He was also great defensively, and Bosh outplaying the OKC fontcourt was a huge factor in winning that series. Wade's entire 2012 season is underrated, as he was arguably still a top 5 player and definitely top 10.

Bosh was never as good as Gasol.

Nor was he close at any point.

Great. Kobe with a dude who can't rebound all his bricks/refuses to play in the post. :oldlol:

The only dynasty they're building is a lottery dynasty.
