When Dincan and LeBron retire will they get the attention Kobe is getting?

Duncan I can see just retiring in the offseason.....and not wanting to make a big deal about it...

and lets face it...Dude has been retired about 6 years already....

added I think Duncan deserves a " Kobesque tour"...he is the greatest leader IMO ever....But Kids don't dream about doing drop steps/ 5' bank shots....

Duncan's style/energy is not anywhere near Kobe's.....he's no where near as popular...we will see?


LeBron on the other hand probably will want a huge " Kobesque spectacle"...he has tried to copy Kobe's Blueprint many times...but failed.

LeBron is extremely popular and ifhe wins one for the Land.....I think he deserves a Kobesque Tour....problem is ....he hasn't...he may not ...and..

does he capture the imagination of young hoopers the way Kobe has?.....lebron is more tank then Ferrari.....more muscle then skill.....he's more Wilt Chamberlain then Michael Jordan....

Like the Land said once...Traders don't leave legacies....we will see?

LeBron will, IMO. Guy has been covered for greatness since a teenager and surpassed a lot of expectations.

Duncan won't. He was considered "boring" during his prime and isn't much of a media guy. He'll go out quietly.

basketball is a young mans game.....young men dont want to be Duncan....they want to be Kobe.
