its a decent deal for both sides

morris is a headcase, but hes got talent.

this draft looks weak though, i dont think you get much outside the top 9.

might be able to snag someone who is older and can contribute a role now on a cheap deal still

I hate Grunfeld. So typical of him. Total desperation move

He traded away the pick that could have landed Curry for Mike Miller/Randy Foye, both on expiring deals.

Good move for the Wiz. They desperately need more talent on that front line, even if it means dealing with a headcase.

This is a f*cking great move for the Bullets.

Hump/Blair and a protected pick for a very capable player who was the best on his team, on a cheap deal... He didn't want to be in Phoenix either.

Wall/Beal/Morris/Gortat is good.

Porter sucks, Morris if 5x better.

The only place Markieff wants to be in the same bed as his twin.

Maybe 4th best on the team.... And that's even stretching it.

Suns robbed the Wizards... I expected any 1st round pick they recieved to be lottery protected... But this one is only protected up to the 9th pick. :applause:

Good trade for the Suns. Wizards just added a cancer to their roster that doesn't show up every game. He won't be a Wizard very long.

Suns on the winning end of a trade for once.

Terrible deal for the Wizards especially with that first rounder in there. Even without the pick it was a questionable deal, but with the pick it is absolutely horrible.

This trade changes nothing, a horrible shooter and a washed up player traded for a proven headcase? Pick doesn't matter, Washington doesn't need another developing 'project'.

All in all, probably a Status Quo.

Great trade for the Suns since they needed to get rid of Morris. Wiz gave up a good draft pick for him. If he pans out, his contract + performance will exceed the EV of that pick probably, but that pick needs more protection.

Also, the 10-20 range in this draft should have nice rotation wings. The problem with this draft is the people expected to like 4-9 aren't good enough to be picked that high in a normal draft.

The idea was to get rid of Morris, anything else is a plus. Doesn't matter if the Wiz wins with Morris or not, Suns separating themselves from Kieff is a good start.

Suns getting confident with that 1X pick :lol They have alot of holes to fill though. The frontcourt rotation is as thin as ever

You obviously haven't watched Morris or the Wizards. Morris sucks across the board. No way should we have given up a pick for him.

Well to be fair, Markieff is a more than solid role player if he ever get out of that twins love affair. Besides Kieff was very good playing with Gortat. There's a chance it might work, Wiz are one of the teams I like better, hopefully it works for them

Nene will literally whoop his ass if he does stupid shit.

Also, Gortat and Dudley are two of his best friends.

My god you're smoking. Think of Kieff like Vince in that he stopped giving a **** before being traded. Kieff averaged 15 and 6 just the year before last.

But they still kept Knight, wonder how Knight will perform playing with Booker when he's back. Think the Suns are wondering as well.

Morris wanted out of Phoenix, big win for them to get a 1st round in return for a guy that was toxic.

Maybe Washington believes that Markieff will love playing for them. For one, he's on the East Coast now so he'll see his brother more often and secondly Wizards have the vets to keep him in check.

He has had 1 good season right before he got paid. Then as soon as he signed the new deal his play fell off. Last season he was an inefficient scorer and a weak rebounder. This season he is obviously worse.

No way should we give up a 1st rounder for a malcontent that the Suns were just looking to dump.
