And the Grizzlies get a heavily protected 2019 1st round pick from the Clippers. Not great, but they got something for Green instead of him leaving this summer in free agency for nothing.

Green isn't a defender nor a prolific scorer. He's also 29, so he's a bit past the "High ceiling! Unlimited potential!" stage of his career. Seriously this barely changes anything in the West.
