:wtf: Celtics don't have enough roster spots for all their picks. They couldn't swing a deal?

His reputation isn't very good. It's Smart for Celtics not to trade for him.

plus if they really want to they can sign him in free agency with the cap increase. likely no one wanted to give up assets for guys they can try and sign in the off season

They would probably have to give up the Nets pick along with some of the best players and then they have to resign him. If he did stay he would demand the max and there's a very good chance he'd want to leave. And then on top of everything he's declining and he seems to be missing a lot of games due to injury. He's not the guy that took Orlando to the Finals. Not worth giving up major assets for a team that's doing alright. Cs aren't contenders but they aren't desperate either.

why would anybody want him? he's a net negative, a bad defender and a terrible offensive player. With a horrible attitude and a terrible contract.
Current Howard may be fighting prime bargnani for worst player considering all circumstances of all time.

no one wants this team killing disloyal scrub.

I feel bad for the dumbass team that offers him a max contract.:lol

Bitched his way out of Orlando. Bitched his way out of LA. Bitching his way out of Houston. Still somehow thinks he's worth max money.

No thanks. I absolutely think we should be trading some of those picks, but not just for the sake of trading them.

His value is about as low as its ever been. He's still putting up decent #'s but he has regressed defensively, isn't the same caliber of player that he was in his Orlando heyday. He'll still get a max deal but nobody was going to give up real assets for him.

We don't even need the Nets pick for him, Celtics probably didn't even budge at trading both their middle 1st round picks for Howard.

No one wants his Bird rights. No one wants to pay him the max contract he will demand (~30M/year).

He's only 30 and it's clear that he'll never come close to being the defensive presence he was in his Orlando DPOY years. At this point in his career, he's a poor man's DeAndre Jordan.

dwight has sullied his name over the years. Teams will give him a chance in the off-season, because hes still an impactful player. but giving up assets for a half season rental? thats a trade only simplejack would make

False. He and his agent have said that there was no trade request at all. Get your facts straight man

His terrible reputation finally caught up with him.

He's older and hurt more often.

He will opt out this summer so nobody will give up anything of value for him.

It's not that hard to figure out.

Apparently the Rockets wanted a front line starter and a 1st rounder for Dwight

The Rockets wouldn't even except the offer of Greg Monroe.

i read on the german NBA-page today, that apparently several teams showed interest into a howard deal, but howard refused to waive his clause. nobody wanted to give houston big picks for someone who can opt out in a few month
