Ferrari back to that 80's livery which I dig, Haas' car looks good too, hopefully they can break the curse of newcomer teams that have failed to make their mark. What makes me optimistic about their chances is that they went about this the right way in my opinion, beside the fact that they have a good racing background, they didn't rush things and put a lot of effort and time to prepare and enter the grid ready. They have kept a close relationship with Ferrari and have received crucial data in return for sponsorship, they also have been supplied with Ferrari car parts as much as the rules let them.
As for their chassis, they got Dallara to make them one, although Dallara never had a proper successful chassis last time they ventured into Formula One, they have a long history of car racing success.
All in all, I can see them picking up points from picking up points from the beginning, they have a very good #1 driver in Grosjean and Gutierez showed promise last time he was on the grid.
Considering Ferrari, I'm hoping for a double title season, it might sound very optimistic, but I have a good feeling about this year. Mercedes here we come

I don't get it.

Both cars look the same with different engines.

May as well just give everyone the same chassis and let them put their own engines in.

Actually the cars have the same engine with different chassis :lol that's not counting different aerodynamics.

The times don't tell the whole story as Mercs focused on reliability and mileage, but I'd say Ferrari fortunately are in a much better place compared to last year and the year before. I can definitely see them taking it to Mercedes from early on in the season.
Haas on the other hand didn't do great, although for a total rookie team, they did well in my opinion. They had some technical issues with their car but managed to fix it on the fly which is crucial for a Formula One team, and the car looked pretty good during the race simulations.
All in all, the signs point to both teams doing well come Melbourne in two weeks.
