D-Will has been crap for over a half-decade at this point, but he had some incredible heat-check sequences as a Net. Nate Robinson AGAINST the Nets like 4 years ago went ballistic too where he just couldn't miss in the playoffs.

Yeah, was gonna come in and mention D Will. For as bad as he has been, he has moments where he looks even better than his former 20/10 self at Utah. Guy is legitimately a great shooter who simply takes a whole lot of bad shots.

He also missed a TON of chippies and it was actually mind-boggling how bad he was at layups and short jumpers/floaters during his worst mental midget phases in Brooklyn.

But yeah, his 57 points he crapped all over Charlotte (franchise-high) was definitely the peak, but he also had insane games against NYK and Washington which were less consistent but he had signature "heat-check" 3's in both games. Quite possibly the only fond memories I have of him on the team as a Nets fan, since we all know he made like one clutch shot his entire time here.

Vince Carter and Reggie were great at this too.

Yea he was lighting up Stackhouse and Hughes. From everywhere.

Watching hose highlights made me realize just how much better near 40 year old Jordan was than Kobe of the past 3 years, while being 4 to 5 years younger ... Jesus.

Unusually c*nty/passive aggressive response SamuraiSWISH.

And I'm sure you know that years in the league and injuries are more important than age.

They aren't. Well injuries are ... Age is obviously a huge factor on the body. Playing and minutes isn't. It keeps you in appropriate shape and conditioning.

It's not like retiring, inactivity, gaining weight, atrophy, as well as rust. And what's passive aggressive? Kobe was lighting those two dudes up on Washington.

Making comments on who was guarding Kobe (anyone would have been torched that day, even Jordan).

Talking about Jordan superiority at an older age.

Sounds pretty sour to me.

And there is a difference between aging and falling apart (Kobe has had 3 straight years with major injuries).

Jordan was always more robust than Kobe. And that is just luck.

Peak Kobe is arguably the greatest 'heatcheck' player in history because of the variety in which he scored in. The degree of difficulty on some of those shots.. wow
