I like the Piston, Clipper, and Pacer ones, just because they associate the team name with what they mean, which they almost never have done with those teams. (The Kings one is good too).

Most of the rest are similar enough to not matter much, and a few are worse than what they have now.


The Celtics, Bulls, and Lakers are all pretty much re-shaded versions of what they have now, which makes sense, because they're the best logos now as it is. I often wonder if they're the best logos because of how iconic they are, or if it's just coincidence. The Laker one I think might be in part iconography, although the color scheme is great. But the other two, especially the Bull, are just great logos.

Toronto Raptors

This one was tough. I wanted to do something different, but I felt like all of the good ideas had been taken with all of the Raptors primary and secondary logos. I didn't want to use a claw or show a whole raptor, so I ended up using a raptor's eye as the focal point in the "R" and then placed a maple leaf behind it to represent Canada as the Raptors are the only Canadian and non U.S. team.

Maple Leaf isn't subtle enough. Could have put it in the eye design. Not a fan of this logo.


Memphis is my favourite re-design.
