Sharing first and last name on insidehoops, good or bad idea?

I've two YouTube channels one is of course the Wilt Chamberlain Archive the other has more real-life-me stuff some of which I've been tempted to share but I've never shared it here because YouTube did that thing a while ago forcing many channels to switch to first and last names and I have no clue how to change it back to what it used to be called. What do you guys think, first and last names TMI?

Nah, not really I'm the same person on or offline. I'm not worried about getting "poido'd". But like, don't exactly want to have all my personal details I didn't intend to have shared researched by someone with too much time on their hands and dumped on to ISH without my consent so I guess now that I think about it I won't share anything from that channel. Not saying you'd do that, or anyone in particular but it's probably not impossible to do and would be fairly annoying I suppose.

I'm honestly not worried about that. The stuff poido was worried about was dumb, and he set himself to be hung by his own tongue anyways. It's more like... do I want to sign in one day and see someone has posted pics of my parents or friends or something because they went on a researching spree. Wouldn't be cool so now that I think about it it's prob TMI lol

Just successfully removed my name, seems like YouTube realized it was a bad idea to force peoples real names and changed how strict they were. Clear to share new stuff now.

Well, as I mentioned though the things I talk about on insidehoops aren't really things I hide in my day to day life anyways so that's not a concern for me. I don't post stupid stuff like Poido did. More concerned about said "freaks" acquiring and sharing information I HAVEN'T shared on here such as names of people I know, possibly addresses, who knows what an ISH creeper would try to find with a full name

It was pretty bad. I'm going purely off of memory now, but I believe someone may have called his job at one point and there may have also been a credit card number located.

See, I'm pretty sure my name was common enough that merely searching first and last still wouldn't yield too many successful attempts at finding anything specifically on me. But you never know. My social media pages are also private but it's tough to tell just how private without someone trying to dig up info.

If you can get credit card info with just a first and last name then I'm most definitely not sharing that info :oldlol:

Will do. Coincidentally, I published that thread because I had visited Seqouia National Park and the drive up had me frightened. I'm going back this Friday. :(
