He was great at a time with hardly any good centers. And his reputation is pretty bad. I think he'll have a tough time getting a lot of votes. But then again, the NBA HOF is not nearly as strict as baseballs.

As far as stats go 12 years in he avg 18 pts, 13 rpg, 8 time all Nba'er (5 time first team), 5 time all defensive team (4 time first team) 3x DPOY,Gold medalist ,
Over 15k points, over 10k rebounds ,
As weak as it is for basketball HOF to let players in , mos def he will get in.

No matter how much he underachieved team wise, killed coaches, he will find a way to get in stats alone .

Of course he is. I don't like him and I don't think he woulda done well against any real centers who came before him but this is a stupid question. I think he's overrated and has benefitted from an absence of talent at center but he's a lock and will almost certainly be a first ballot guy. He's not a good guy or a good teammate but that has nothing to do with it.
