That translates to 13 points on 42% shooting in the 90's.

He only gets to 13 because he gets stabbed in the 2nd quarter due to good, hard 90's defense. No foul on the play too.

That translates to 150 points on 90% shooting in the Wilt's era.

That ni99a can't get 50 points on all two's... PERIOD... that's a fact

That means he isn't as skilled as guys who can, like Bird and MJ.

Curry can only get 50 because someone painted a line on the floor that gives him extra points for made shots.. I can't respect that more than someone who gets 50 ORGANICALLY

He needs to be the best offensive player in the league for 9 more seasons to match MJ.

while being the best defender at his position as well.

historically - when we rank non-big men, only MJ ranks in the top 5 on offense AND defense.

when ranking big men, only Wilt ranks in the top 5 on both sides of the ball.

The way most kids are getting ahead of themselves:oldlol:
Curry got 3 fifty point games this season. Kobe in 2007 had 4 fifty point games in a ROW.

I'm guessing these kids never watched those seasons. Just on here reading box's cores lol.
This was the normal for Kobe back in the day. Heck, he freaking outscored an entire team through 3 quarters. But please by all means continue to be impressed by 51 point games.
You can really tell the age of the some of the posters on here. Some who weren't around to watch Kobe in his prime.

i wonder how the teams will stop curry. last time i watched a full GSW game was against the wizards a few weeks ago. the wizards did a fantastic job on guarding curry in 1on1 or by double team. nearly every curry shot was very well defended and contested. but he just makes ridiculous shots consistently.
so what you gonna do?

im not saying that he is "unguardable", because i wanna see him against kawhi in the playoffs....but in fact you can just try to pull him way outside the three point line and hope he misses.

Well right now he's on pace for his 2nd straight title and MVP, scoring title, Warriors breaking the Bulls' regular season record.

If he has better peak seasons than MJ it's going to be a legitimate debate in 5-6 years if he keeps this up. Right now it's not close career-wise but Curry's about to have the most efficient regular season in league history.

Wow, jaded or what, either you have a real hate on for Curry, or a hate for 3 pointers... you sound like the guy who devalues 50 pt games because someone got to the FT line too many times.

Get real man, 50+ pts with 1 FTA, 74% FG, 66% 3PT, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds and you literally say you don't respect it because he made 10 out of 15 3s???? I would have to say you are more of a homer(of whoever or whatever) than a real NBA fan.

Any real fan of the game is going to look at that and say "WOW", the efficiency is amazing and to top it all off, it was in a game where they actually needed pretty much all of it AND they won.

3 pointers are a huge part of today's game, you can hate them all you want, but they are here to stay and Curry is setting the benchmark for sharpshooters of the future.

Around 27 or 28 is when most perimeter players peak. Also Curry normally shoots better from 3 the 2nd half of the season. He did the samething last season too. This is why is 3 point shooting % has been steadily rising the past 2 months.

He's even more dominant than Kobe was. He averaged 41 minutes that year, Curry is doing what he's doing in 34 minutes. Just look at the last game when Curry shot the half court 3 at the end of the 3rd quarter. The player's heads and shoulder went down once they saw that. He's even more soul crushing then Kobe was then.

This isn't to shit on Kobe or Lebron a few years ago, or Durant 2 years back all of which were complete freaks of nature and dominated everyone. That just shows how scary Curry is. And unlike those 3, he is far more of a team player and doesn't mind sharing the ball, which only gives confidence to the rest of his team.

I've been watching soccer even earlier than I started watching basketball or boxing, and he is the most exciting athlete I've ever seen. The man is a freak.
