Defending Planned Parenthood would be a political career-ender for most Republicans in a GOP debate, but Donald Trump has now done it twice.

Can someone explain one thing to me. Why do liberals in the United States always give Republicans sh!t on the intelligence of their voter base? Obviously the Republicans get ALOT of support from the white/southern/uneducated "redneck" types, but how exactly is this different to the Democrats getting votes from poor black's/Mexicans/Immigrants from the inner suburbs who are in most cases just as (if not more so) uneducated/poor/unintelligent as their poor Republican counterparts.
