2012 was winning fairly easily

2009 was his athletic peak, but I would want 2012 or 2013 LeBron on my team.

2009 he was the most athletic and destructive specimen in recorded sports history. Didn't quite have the mental mastery of the game yet, though. But he was a ****ing freight-train on both ends. GOAT physicality.

in 2012/2013 he operated as a genius and had GOAT like efficiency for a perimeter player. You get a more calculated LeBron with slightly less speed/aggression.

It's hard to compair. 2009 he had a team that was assembled around him but not filled with stars. He failed in (i think) the ecf? 2012 he colluded with 2 all stars in their prime and finally, after another fail in 2011, he managed to get his ring. But that was due to his stacked team so I go with 2009

i dont share the same opinion, but finally not a "troll" post from you. keep it up (seriously)

its difficult to determine the exact year. his 2009-2014 run was impressive

09 LeBron was a machine, but perhaps 12 LeBron just due to that deadly floater he had.

Still irks me his range has usually been woeful in most of his runs, but since he's tank and does a lot on the court, he makes up for it.

I'd go with 2012. He lost a TOUCH of athleticism but made up for it with his improved basketball acumen. That type of progression is true of most players. Their true peak comes slightly after their athletic peak. Like they say, youth is wasted on the young.

Why do people act like Lebron was better in 2012 than 2013?

He was a lot better in the playoffs, especially the Finals

Better in the 2012 Playoffs.
He had to do more cause of Bosh's injury maybe. Doesnt mean he was better overall.

I select Lebron's Magic series over his any series when playing for Miami .

38/8/8 with %60 TS against first defence of the league . Lebron played with %55 TS against Spurs and Thunder . But his heat era defence was clearly better than his 2009 defence .

Defence - 12 ( with around 3-4 plus minus margin on 100 poss )

Offence - 09 ( with around 5-6 plus minus margin )

Total - 09 ( with around 2-3 plus minus margin)

..

2013 should be considered Bron's peak before 2012. He improved in every facet offensively.

Between these 2 though? 2009 easily.
