of the Warriors, despite Golden State's all-time great record at this point. They're 8 whole games ahead of the Thunder. That's a 69 game win pace.

Could we end up with two 70 win teams? Probably not. But it's amazing how much they fly under the radar.

I mean it's hard to receive that much hype against your competition when you get skullf*cked in your first matchup. They're awesome but you can't get embarrassed like that in a hyped up matchup and maintain that hype. Before that game, most people who regularly watched acknowledged the Spurs as a juggernaut and the biggest threat to GS.

4 games are a lot at the top though, the Warriors is "only " going to improve 4, 5 games from last year.

Yeah, but despite that they're still in striking range should GS falter somehow. The Warriors do have to play the Thunder, Spurs and Clippers a couple more times.
