Not really. He more than held his own against everyone. He was one of the strongest, most physical players in this league. If anything Barkley manhandled Oakley in this game. Just looking at Barkley's body he's so much wider than Oakley it's unbelievable.

If you actually watched the clip you'd notice that Barkley could do whatever he wanted against Oakley. Oakley could not guard him. Barkley was phenomenal at using his body and was just too strong and explosive.

Barkley could handle Oak on the court. Oak was the primary enforcer in the league for a good while, having replaced Mahorn. Oak had Ewing, Mase, Grand Ma Ma snd Xman so he four other guys known for toughness as Larry Johnson used to box. So people avoided the confrontations. Malone was the toughest guy in his play. The only guy that could bully Barkley with his play. Malone would elbow and knee you on a drive if you annoyed him.

Barkley would bully people but didn't have the edge the real enforcers had.

If Oakley did in fact slap him in a meeting I'm sure Barkley didn't take it lying down, probably came right back at him just like when Oak body slammed him in that 96' game.
