Simmons and Anderson are both trash and will be out of the league in a few seasons bank on it.

This is a good move, shows Spurs see what I see. They need backup scorers on the wing, particularly scoring since they let Belinelli go.

Spurs were recently speaking highly of Simmons' play off the bench. That he fit in the system well.....:confusedshrug:

Kevin Martin can play the role of Green minus the defense, I guess he could fit into their system pretty well but I would keep him on a short leash.

Which is surprising. Signing them this late into the regular season is weird.

It is because the Spurs realize that Simmons and Anderson are not good enough to log meaningful playoff minutes. Simmons goes outside the system way too much and Anderson isn't good enough or athletic enough for the league in general.

Sucks that if it's somebody like Bonner or Rasual Butler that it would probably be the last we see of them. Butler has played well.
