Can you imagine if these two met in a game? The Big O would have a pretty hard time guarding Curry, I wonder how well Klay or Iggy could guard Oscar? :confusedshrug:

Currently they both have 1 chip, 1 MVP, and 0 FMVP

It's The Big Zero who has no respect. Dude is popping off about modern game when the cat posted up a bunch of unathletic white used car salesman in his wack era. Could only win one with the number 2 of All Time. The Big Piece of shit needs to keep Currys name out of his mouth

It's great how far he's been able to take that body, being able to trapbar deadlift 400 is impressive. It took me like 3-4 months to get close to that from ground zero, weighing 10 pounds less :applause:

Wonder what he benches today? 10 reps of 185 (http://www.nbadraft.net/2009-nba-draft-combine-athleticism-test-results) isn't that bad for a rookie. I did more than that as a junior in high school weighing 165, but still impressive.

Damn shame Curry doesn't have a wingspan to height ratio like myself, could you imagine if he was 6'2 without shoes with a 6'6 1/2 wingspan? I guess having the 2 inches on my wingspan makes up for the 2 inches I've got on him elsewhere. But seriously, guys a monster. I've always thought the game wasn't being exploited the way it could be. League better hope we don't get bodies like Jordan, LeBron or even Durant as accurate/able to create space like Curry. Someone needs to make a "how great is our god" mix with him

you give respect you get respect, give disrespect and derision? well...

modern fans for the most part dont even think about the players of antiquity, however old timers consistently go out their way to disparage the stars of generations after them its fine to think your generation is better, its natural even but you can do so without being flippant and condescending. Fucc Oscar Robertson (and Im 34) everytime you hear from this guy hes being surly, petty and disrespectful.

I cant stand envious people, he thinks he's so slick too he guises his his hubris as just him giving his opinion like when people say Jordan is the greatest he's quick to point out how great Kobe is as if Kobe is anywhere in Jordan's class.

Damn near 80 and sneak dissing on people that could be your kids or grandkids because they arew getting more adulation and money than you were in your day...just frigging PATHETIC

FUCC Oscar Robertson old crusty azz

I don't like these old-timers disparaging what Curry is doing, either.

Any more than the current fans claiming that players like Oscar would be scrubs in today's NBA. And yet just a few years ago the purse-carrying Steve Nash won back-to-back MVPs. Or that Ricky Rubio and Rajon Rondo can start in the current NBA, when neither one of them can shoot any better than Stevie Wonder. Or that just a few years ago the 6-8 Kevin Love ran away with a rpg title, and did so in 35 mpg.

Or current fans claiming that Wilt dominated short white guys, when he was wiping the floor with a Russell who was every bit as tall as Cousins, DJ, Dwight, and Drummond. Or that he averaged 48 ppg over a span of 20 straight games against a Bellamy, who was listed at 6-11, but who, according to Marty Blake, was in fact a legitimate 7-0.

Or that it was "pace" alone that allowed Oscar to average a 30-10-10 over the course of six consecutive seasons. Yep, despite the fact that he was the only guy to ever do it. Or that "pace" was the reason Chamberlain hung 32 games of 60+....despite the fact that there were a total of five other "non-Wilt" 60+ games in Chamberlain's 14 seasons. Or that, if you remove Wilt from those 14 seasons, the highest scoring full-time scoring average was 35.6 ppg, which was less than MJ's '87, and slightly higher than Kobe's '06.

What Curry is accomplishing today is truly remarkable. His ability to score from the parking lot is something that the NBA has never witnessed before. And these "geezers" need to acknowledge it. Just as the current generation need to respect the true greatness of those that came before them.

Old schooler's will be surly because that's their make up. These guys were alpha dogs, super stars, legends of the game. Players from those elder times were very prideful. They are unlike today's buddy buddy generation. There was no hi-five'ing or giggling among each other during games. Your pride and name was on the line each and every game. But yes I agree they should give credit where it's due. Curry is having a great season. But people need to calm down and not proclaim him the best ever..:lol .
