He's lucky Daniel Day-Lewis wasn't in a movie this year

Now that he finally got his lifetime achievement award, hopefully he can stop whoring himself out and try-harding for trinkets. Get back to actually acting. :applause:

I thought he was better in that too. I also thought he was better in The Aviator. Kind of a shame that his 1 Oscar isn't actually for his best performance.

If his last two roles werent acting then i dont know what is.. Its not like he is portraying gay, tranny or steve job characters.. Or waiting like DDL for a perfect role every 6 years.. He does what he wants and does it consistently

He wanted an Oscar, and was constantly doing Oscar bait movies. Btw, both WOWS and Revenent were technically biopics like the Steve Jobs movie, just not as well known (particularly the Revenent, which there was not a way of impersonating). Leo has done quite a few biopics. The Aviator and J. Edgar come to mind without even searching. Clearly they were all acting though.

Leo could've had 10 seconds of screen time with no dialogue and he'd still have been given the Oscar.

It's more just an honorary award for him at this point.

End of an era. Reminds me of the short lived Lebron doesn't have a ring era.

He was good but if he won for that, then Ray Liotta should have won for Goodfellass. You know Leo probably studied Ray to a tee for that role.
