Question about Curry

Sorry about the 1,600th Curry thread in the last 24 hours, but just wondering: why is Curry's name pronounced "Stefan" when its clearly spelled as "Steven"?

I'm calling him Steven. :hammerhead:

There is no logic behind names. A name is pronounced however the person who owns it wants it to be pronounced.
